How it's calculated

Measure around your head with a soft tape, about 2 cm above your eyebrows and over the widest part at the back. We match that number to each brand's own size chart, because a Medium in one brand isn't the same as a Medium in another.

Then we keep the helmets that come in your size and meet your choices. Helmets with more stated certifications and a lower weight are listed first. Every figure is the brand's own: we don't rate safety ourselves. Prices are the official distributor's regular price, so a budget only matches helmets that have one.

Between two sizes? Try both in the shop. A new helmet should feel snug all round with no pressure point, and it shouldn't move when you shake your head.

How do I find my helmet size?

Which certification should I look for?

Look for a helmet with a recognised certification printed on its label, such as ECE 22.06, ECE 22.05, DOT or ISI. Filter by the one you want above.
