How it's calculated

Every fee is the amount in the BRTA Citizen Charter (updated 6 May 2026). A new rider usually pays for a learner licence first, then the smart card licence after passing the test.

Renewals include a ৳60 postal charge. Paying through an online gateway adds that gateway's own charge. Older guides that quote ৳345 or ৳2,542 are out of date.
